Intl’ Chachacha
Starting with prep 1, Men change weight to right, Ladies change weight to her left. Latin close hold.
(1) Basic (2 3 ccc, 2 3 ccc)
(2) Ladies Underarm turn (2 3 ccc, 2 3 ccc)
(3) Cross body lead 180 degrees (2 3 ccc, 2 3 ccc&)
Note: This is different from the cross body lead I normally do.
2 3 ccc: do a basic, Men cc to his left, Ladies cc to her right. At the end Men turn left ~90 degrees and collect right foott to left. (&)
2: Men rock back. Ladies left foot forward (slightly outside Men)
3: Men rock forward onto left foot. Ladies right foot forward and turn back to Men.
ccc: Men cc to his right, Ladies to her left. Closed position.
Note: When Men lead this step, keep the frame (arm position), but use body to lead. Avoid too much arm leading, also avoid no arm leading. The correct way for Men to lead is to use body to do the cross body lead, while arms follow naturally while keeping the frame.
(4) Cross body lead with spiral and three step turn (2 3 ccc&, 2 3 &ccc)
2 3 ccc: do a basic. At the end, Men turn left 90 degrees and collect right foot to left.
2: Men rock back on right foot. Ladies walk forward with left foot.
3: Men rock forward on left foot. Ladies keep walking forward with right foot.
&: Ladies spiral to her left. A full turn. Men lead Ladies left turn into spiral.
ccc: Ladies three step turn. First step Ladies left foot forward while turning to left, second step right foot close left foot, facing Men, third step, Ladies left foot side. Men just do a normal cc to the side. One hand hold at the end.
Note: Although Ladies did 540 degree turn in this move, it doesn’t really feel like that much a turn. This is just cross body lead with an inside turn.
